- The YSHS Library Media Center offers access to a wide range of resources in a variety of mediums. The library's book collection contains approximately 24,500 volumes of reference, non-fiction, and fiction titles.
- The YSHS Library Media Center is a member of the ACCESS PA Database, a project of the Pennsylvania Department of Education and the Office of Commonwealth Libraries. This database is a web-based bibliographic union catalog and resource sharing guide to the holdings of over 3,000 school, public, academic, and special libraries. YSHS students can use this resource sharing tool to borrow materials from libraries throughout the Commonwealth.
- Computers with internet access are available for educational use and school related projects. Failure to comply with the District's Technology Use Agreement will result in the loss of technology use privileges. Students are asked to limit printing use by taking notes from the computers, sending resources to home e-mail accounts and/or printing only selections that are necessary. Students who are in the library with their classroom teachers will have first priority to the computers.
