It's Time to Register!

All kindergarten and first grade students planning to attend York Suburban School District in the 2013-2014 school year must register now.  Kindergarten registration for Yorkshire students will take place by appointment only on May 16th. The following information explains age requirements and how to register.  (NOTE: If your child is already attending York Suburban as a kindergarten student, it is not necessary to register him/her as a first grader.)  

 Age Requirements:

·      Children who are now five (5) years old or will have reached their fifth (5th) birthday before September 1, 2013, are eligible to enroll for kindergarten in the coming school year.

 ·      Children who are now six (6) years old or will have reached their sixth (6th) birthday before September 1, 2013, are eligible to enroll for first grade.

 From the School Nurse:  Please bring a copy of your child's immunization record to kindergarten registration, even if not yet complete.  Also, all children will need to have a physical and dental examination form completed.  If you have the form ready at the time of registration, you may turn it in then, otherwise it will be due by the first week of school.  Any physical or dental report dated after 9/1/12 will be sufficient.  Please see links below for the physical and dental form:
