*Applicants MUST register prior to going to the Fingerprint Center via the following:

  • The applicant will pay a fee of $27.00 for the fingerprint background check which includes an automatic mailed unofficial copy of results directly to each applicant.


  • Credit/debit card may be done online. Money orders or bank cashiers check payable to Cogent Systems will be accepted at the center. NO cash, personal checks, or credit cards are allowed.


  • Applicants must provide proof of identity upon arrival at the Fingerprint Center such as a state issued drivers license, state I.D card, passport, etc.


  • Applicants should make note of the “Registration ID”. This number will be required to be given to the hiring entity to check the application’s CHRI on line.


  • Applicants may be employed on a provisional basis for a single period not to exceed ninety days. The “Registration ID” must be provided to the Human Resource Office within 90 days from your date of hire.
