 Overview  Schoology

My name is Jamie Evans and the 2018-19 school year will be my 25th year in education.   I spent my first five years as a 4th grade teacher at Wrightsville Elementary School in the Eastern York School District.   I made the transition to York Suburban and spent 18 years as a K-8 computer teacher and made the shift to 6th grade ELA last year. I'm very excited to continue working with 6th grade students in the ELA classroom.

I'm a graduate of York Suburban (1989), Shippensburg Universiy (1993), and Pepperdine University (2003).  Returning to York Suburban was a great experience as I could continue to learn from former teachers, now colleagues.  As the years have passed it is now my turned to be peers with former students.  It makes me feel old. :)

Last year I retired as the York Suburban boys' volleyball coach after working with the program for 18 years, 12 as the head coach.  I'm still involved with program as it is very near and dear to my heart.

2. Check Schoology for homework and Infinite Campus for grades.

3. Contact Mr. Evans if you have any questions.

4. Be friendly, kind, and polite.

5. Try your best!
